Compensation Scheme & Preliminary Entitlements
Dear Crosswise Community,
It has been a long wait but we are finally ready to share the preliminary results of our compensation calculations. The methodology is solid and the underlying scripts have been thoroughly tested. Nonetheless, no method can be perfect, and although we have made every reasonable effort to avoid errors or sources of potential inaccuracy, we now invite you to help us verify the results. Every method and step has been documented in order to allow users to reproduce the calculations transparently.

We encourage anyone with the required skillset to recreate the snapshot and calculation independently. No data was altered without documenting it and all steps have been documented for reproducibility. The Crosswise Compensation Scheme is 100% transparent.

Lookup Compensation Entitlement
To lookup your entitlement, open the public google sheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1Y8PSaq6M2AHGhRZMxnjfs6MupfWxPHwPlVyMLUElXaM/edit#gid=0, press CRTL + F on Windows or CMD + F on a Mac to open the Search. Now copy your wallet address, paste it into the search, delete at least the last 5 characters, and press ENTER.
Next Steps
The community can now feedback on any errors or divergences. We will allow 5 days for community members to report any issues. If legitimate issues arise, we will fix them, and initiate another round of consultation, until we resolve all issues and/or the community deems the results to be sufficiently correct. How quickly we finish this process will now also depend on the community at large.
Reporting Inaccuracies
Before reporting an issue please be aware that we will only consider issues pertaining to accuracy. The principles and methods are not up for debate. Please re-check your calculations several times. Please also note that small divergences are considered within the margin of error. Therefore only inaccuracies greater than 3% will be considered. Closing Remarks
The Compensation Scheme represents a significant milestone in our development and will finally allow us to re-launch in October! We look forward to getting back to working on the actual products we want to build. A special thank you has to go out to Filip Kulas our new Lead Developer, who tackled this arduous task with determination, and under considerable time pressure.
As a community it is time to leave all doubts regarding a re-launch behind, and to spread the word about Crosswise! It is worth remembering just how early we still are in the development of this project. Much remains to be done, and the community has its role to play in making sure our comeback doesn’t go unnoticed nor unappreciated.
